Clear pricing, no surprises.
One session fee, whichever way we meet. Medicare rebates can bring your out-of-pocket cost down, and you don’t need a referral to get started.
What a session costs.
With a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you can claim a Medicare rebate on a set number of sessions each financial year. You don’t need a referral or a plan to book, they just reduce your out-of-pocket cost. Private health extras may also contribute, depending on your cover.
Medicare, in three steps.
Chat to your GP
Book a longer appointment and ask about a Mental Health Care Plan. Your GP will talk it through and set one up if it’s right for you.
Send it through
Forward the plan and referral letter when you book, or bring it along to your first session. We’ll take care of the paperwork side.
Claim your rebate
After each eligible session you’ll get a receipt to claim through Medicare, and the rebate usually lands within a couple of days.
Money questions, answered.
Do I need a referral to see you?
No, you’re welcome to book in directly. A referral and Mental Health Care Plan are only needed if you want to claim Medicare rebates.
How many sessions does Medicare cover?
A Mental Health Care Plan covers a set number of psychology sessions per calendar year, reviewed with your GP along the way. Your GP will explain how it applies to you.
Can I use private health instead?
If your extras cover includes psychology, you can claim through your fund instead of Medicare (you can’t claim both for the same session). Check your level of cover with your insurer.
What if I need to cancel?
Life happens, just let us know at least 24 hours ahead where you can, so the spot can go to someone else. Full details are shared when you book.
Ready when you are.
